2010 Rowbothams Track Shiraz
A lighter style shiraz, medium garnet in colour with tinges of black around the edges and a brick red hue. Lifted aromas of ripe dark cherries are mixed in with some earthy plum like aromas and a hint of chocolate bullets followed by vanillin cedar and spice. Supple and round with low acidity the medium bodied palate has flavours of ripe dark cherries, liquorice, vanillin cedar and subtle spice. Soft velvety tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, ripe dark cherries and spicy vanillin oak. Matured for 24 months in old French oak.
2012 Betelgeuse Shiraz
A full-bodied red lovers’ wine. Spicy, ripe, fresh and complex shiraz with a spice box of white pepper, brown spices, and dried herbs, and lemon verbena in the aromas. The palate is ripe, bold, long, rich and even with generous velvety tannins. The red and black fruits are high intensity in the middle palate with black peppery spicy edges running long and ripe, into liquorice smoked meats and dark spices. Matured for 24 months in old French oak.

2013 Betelgeuse Shiraz
Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of dark plum and liquorice are followed by some toasty vanillin oak and spicy earth. Medium bodied the palate has generous flavours of juicy dark plums and liquorice over some vanillin oak, faint earth and spice. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark plums, liquorice, vanillin oak and faint earth. Matured for 20 months in old French oak.

2014 Betelgeuse Shiraz
Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherries and red liquorice are overlaid by some leathery notes with earthy vanillin cedar and spicy herbs following on. Medium bodied, with richness and depth the palate is flavoured with spicy dark cherries, red liquorice, earthy cedar and spicy herb characters. Dry finish with slightly chalky tannins and bright acidity. Short earthy, dark cherry, spicy vanillin cedar and dried herb aftertaste. Matured for 20 months in old French oak.
